Uploading files to event sections

Files can be uploaded to risr/advance when creating a new event or filling in a section of an event for someone else if that event section contains a file field.

A file can be uploaded to an event by clicking the Upload button associated with a file field and then selecting the relevant file from your computer’s file browser.

The ability to add files to events is at the discretion of the system administrator when creating the event type.

The file field can be customised per event type according to the requirements for the event. The settings are defined within the Field properties. Administrators can choose to add attributes such as specific file types, file size, maximum number of files allowed, or choosing to make file attachments mandatory.

All files are scanned for viruses after uploading. If a file is found to be infected it will not be possible to download this file.
